A 2 Class 3 Square profile trailer hitch especially introduced for the North American market. With the electrically folding towbar, you do not have to stretch beneath the car to detach or remove the towbar. Pressing a button in the luggage compartment folds the towbar out. A simple hand movement positions the towbar in a locked position. For increased safety, there is a light indicator on the button that indicates that the towbar is locked. If the towbar is unlocked, a warning message is shown in the car's instrument cluster. The trailer module manages the electronic communication between the car and trailer. This Hitch can support a 4 bike carrier up to 200 pounds. The depth of the square profile is limited to 2,5 inches, measured from the center of the hole for the locking pin. A 7/4-pin plug adapter (not included) may be required for some trailers. The towbar is tested for the maximum towing weight and tow ball load, but may be lower depending on the car version.
